Like the antiques which Wilson County is known for, this floor retains a great deal of natural patina. While this floor is milled completely smooth like the floors of the North Carolina Heritage Collection, we take careful steps to ensure that as much patina as possible is maintained on the face of the floor as to convey the underlying character of the wood
The wood varieties of the Legacy Collection retain the original circular saw marks on the product to create a rustic look and a textured feel. Essentially, these grades are customizable. Based on client preference, our technicians can design the product to be darker with more texture or lighter with less texture. Our customer's preferred uses are in hunting cabins, mountain homes, and ski lodges
